I’M SAMANTHA
I deeply value the connections I have the privilege of making when working with my clients. I just love learning about the mothers and families I photograph! With that being said, I feel it only makes sense that I share a little bit more about myself so you can meet the person behind the camera!
I am a wife and mother to one sweet baby boy. My husband and I met freshman year of college and and then continued to date long distance for three years through the remainder of our college education. While the distance was hard, it made us stronger than ever as a couple. We moved in together after college graduation in 2018 and have been living happily together ever since. We got married in 2022 and then had our son, Liam, in 2023. Liam keeps us on our toes and keeps our hearts full. He is our entire world! We also cannot wait to grow our family over the next several years!
Over the last decade, I have been on the hunt for my true passion. I have had several side jobs as well as a long term Government career that have helped me grow into the person I am today, but none have ever fulfilled me at my core. While I have always been interested in photography, it was my own journey into motherhood that solidified my passion for documenting mothers and their families. From the moment I became a mother, I have had a strong desire to preserve every single detail and memory that comes along with motherhood, from both the mother’s and baby’s perspective.
Modern day mothers are so inspiring for all they accomplish and balance on a daily basis. As many mothers can probably relate, most photos in our camera rolls consists of our kids, our significant others, and our fur babies. I have made it my goal to help as many mothers get out from behind the camera and into the photos with their families! Motherhood is beautiful, hard, raw, and rewarding and every moment of it deserves to be captured and preserved. Nothing would make me more honored than getting the opportunity to capture precious moments for your family as well!

Watching my son Liam grow up way too fast has made me want to capture every single moment of his childhood. I am continuously inspired by him. I always strive to capture other children with the same love and eye for detail that I use to capture my son!

I am a bit of a shopaholic if I am being honest! I strive to stay up to date on the latest trends and know all the best places to shop. In addition to being your photographer, I am always up for being your personal stylist too! I love helping clients pick out their outfits for their sessions (when help is wanted)!

My happy place has always been along the coastline. Being near water has always been a requirement for me wherever I go. The calming waves and salty air put me at peace and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
